Founder of When Belief Dies
My name is Sam and I am in my mid 30’s. I live in the North of England, I am married and have two boys.
I was born into a Christian family and have classed myself as a Christian for most of my life. I’ve attended a pentecostal Bible college and have been involved with church leadership for a good few years.
In 2017, I started to have some serious doubts about my religious beliefs. Through the process of investigating my beliefs over the next few years, I slowly realised that I no longer believed Christianity to be true, even though I wanted it to be.
I stepped down from church leadership in Dec 2019 after this long battle with doubt, and in 2020 I started When Belief Dies as a way to have conversations with people from around the world exploring faith, religion and life as honestly as possible.
I hope the conversations you find here are helpful, no matter which side of the faith/no faith divide you fall.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, and thank you for checking out When Belief Dies!
